Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science
The Daejeon Shinsegae Art & Science and Onoma Hotel is a prominent landmark in the Daejeon-Chungcheong area, offering a unique space for science experiences and cultural activities. The building features 5 underground floors and 43 above-ground floors, with a total construction area of approximately 280,000 square meters. Its facade is enhanced by lighting designed with Archion solutions. The rooftop boasts 17,000 Traxon lights, which create a stunning glow at night. For ease of maintenance, the installation features components that prevent separation, along with individual waterproof connector connections. Archion's linear lighting solution, P1, is utilized on both the upper and lower floors of the building. This solution is installed on the spandrel sections to create a uniform wall grazing effect while preventing light from entering the interior spaces. All lighting systems are controlled via DMX/RDM communication and are integrated with a control system that monitors their condition and ensures efficient maintenance, providing a high level of convenience.
