About Project

Guro G Tower

G Tower is situated in Guro-dong and stands at a height of 185 meters with 39 floors above ground. It has become a prominent landmark in the area and serves as the central space of the IT information complex, thanks to its distinctive architecture and lighting design. The building's lighting was designed using the Archion solution, which divided the building into the upper floor, central curtain wall, and linear edge to create various landscape lighting effects. Spot lighting was used in the upper floor area to accentuate the building's vertical design and make the rooftop stand out in harmony with the overall architecture. Additionally, a roll blind system and Archion P1 lighting were installed in the middle curtain wall to enhance the building's three-dimensional effect with abundant light and controlled glare. When installing lighting, the direction is from top to bottom to control glare in case the building is viewed from the outside. Through several mock-ups, the appropriate amount of light was ensured to meet the design concept while controlling glare. The use of the accessory shield played a crucial role in optimal glare control. Lastly, the linear Edge was designed to emphasize the flow of the entire G Tower by emphasizing the unique edge in the middle of the building elevation. To achieve this, linear lighting was installed along the edge, and a perforated acrylic cover was manufactured to prevent glare. This meticulous lighting plan made G Tower a more unique and impressive landmark.
