Artcenter Incheon
The Art Center Incheon stands as a global cultural hub, characterized by a distinctive exterior design inspired by the graceful movements of a maestro's conducting hands. Its panoramic vista extends seamlessly to the sea, complemented by a state-of-the-art sound system, elevating its status as a world-class cultural venue. The lower eaves of the Art Center Incheon were adorned with facade lighting, strategically designed to evoke a gradient effect reminiscent of a keyboard, starting from the eaves' edge. This involved installing LEDs across three distinct zones: high resolution, medium resolution, and low resolution, meticulously crafting an exterior aesthetic that captivates viewers. The high-resolution section employed LED fixtures featuring a 50x200mm element spacing (4 pixels/200mm module), while the medium-resolution section utilized LED fixtures with a 50x300mm element spacing (4 pixels/200mm module), and the low-resolution segment utilized LED fixtures with a 50x400mm element spacing (4 pixels/200mm module). This installation covers an expansive area of 1138m©÷. Moreover, the lighting system employed the e:pix function, a notable advancement beyond standard DMX technology. This innovative system boasts a capacity three times greater than traditional DMX-based setups, rendering it tailor-made for media façade lighting. This enhancement facilitates superior media production effects, streamlines installation and construction processes, and enhances maintenance accessibility.
