Seun PRUGIO Hericity
Sewoon Prugio Heri City is a premium residential complex located in Jung-gu, Seoul. The façade lighting concept, ¡°Rising Light,¡± focuses on creating depth and spatial expression through the building's vertical rhythm. Utilizing Archion solutions, the scheme integrates vertical, horizontal, and inground lighting to define a sophisticated nighttime silhouette. The vertical lighting serves as the primary façade element. To ensure visual comfort, Archion P1 fixtures are concealed within horizontal architectural projections, preventing direct glare. These fixtures employ a wall-grazing technique, projecting light upward and downward to enhance the building's height and structural depth. Since the façade consists of cornered surfaces rather than flat walls, extensive mock-up tests were conducted to optimize lens and tilting angles for uniform distribution. A multi-layered composition—featuring amber light on the upper and lower sections with white light in the middle—creates a refined color-mixing effect. Continuous horizontal lighting runs along the upper parapet, defining the building¡¯s rhythm and outlining a clean silhouette against the night sky. Archion P1 linear fixtures are arranged in an uninterrupted line, creating a recognizable profile within the cityscape. Custom glare-control brackets shield the light sources, maintaining a clean and controlled expression for the rooftop area. Finally, Archion P3 square recessed inground luminaires are installed across the rooftop to subtly guide circulation and define spatial edges. These fixtures preserve the site's daytime aesthetics while adding gentle luminous accents at night. Their recessed design and glare-minimizing distribution harmonize with the vertical and horizontal elements, completing a calm and balanced nighttime atmosphere.
