About Project

Starfield Anseong

Starfield is a large, comprehensive shopping mall built by Shinsegae Property, primarily targeting family customers. The Starfield landscape lighting includes four areas: cinema anchor, southern side, kids zone anchor, and F&B anchor. To create a floating appearance above the glass facade that creates the subtle effect on the upper elevation on the southern side, the plan was to connect anchors at the main entrance. Indirect uplighting was installed using light elements inside the lower glass, and floodlights were installed on poles on the upper part of the facade to create a sense of volume in the building. For the kids zone anchor, the facade poles were used to give volume to the hexagon panels, creating an interesting production that emphasizes the bright and cheerful atmosphere of the external hexagon panels. In addition, the south side was flooded from the first floor, and the east side was flooded from the rooftop of the building parking lot. The F&B anchor emphasized the brick finish with an upright design by varying the light distribution of Archion P1 on the stone top. Pole lighting was used for the cinema anchor to create a dramatic sense of volume by using the curves of the AL fins and the bronze finish. Dimming effect was applied to create an interesting light space and the effect of light flowing.
