About Project

FREITAG

Freitag and Archion united in collaboration. Freitag, a renowned Swiss eco-friendly upcycling brand established by brothers Marcus and Daniel Freitag in 1993, stands as a beacon of innovation in sustainable practices. Pioneering the concept of 'upcycling', they transcend mere recycling by infusing discarded materials with new life and value, exemplified through their commitment to crafting robust and enduring bags. Each creation is unique, reflecting Freitag's corporate ethos that places a premium on environmental consciousness and social responsibility. The primary design objective for Korea's "Freitag Seoul Store by June" was to craft a space tailored for the constant presence of its dedicated employees. The lighting serves a dual purpose, catering not only to product illumination but also to create an adaptable ambiance for employees, allowing them to adjust brightness levels for optimal comfort throughout the day. With easily controllable features, employees can effortlessly tailor the lighting to their preferences, fostering a brighter or cozier atmosphere as needed. Leveraging high color rendering capabilities, the original aesthetic of products is faithfully preserved, ensuring visual harmony within the store while minimizing eye strain. Furthermore, the integration of lighting seamlessly into the overall store layout was paramount, necessitating fixtures that complemented rather than detracted from the interior design. Exterior lighting demanded precision, balancing high light intensity with interior harmony and glare control. Thanks to Archion's innovative products and accessories, this delicate balance was achieved with finesse, culminating in a flawlessly executed lighting scheme. Archion's lighting ethos revolves around illuminating not just buildings, but also the individuals within them. While their lighting solutions enhance spaces aesthetically, they prioritize the well-being of those who inhabit, work, relax, and enjoy within these environments. In the successful completion of this project, a concept deeply aligned with the pursuit of greater harmony was embraced, reflecting Archion's commitment to creating luminous environments that elevate both spaces and people.
