About Project

Hyundai MOTORSTUDIO GOYANG

The design area of Hyundai Motor Studio encapsulates Hyundai Motor Company's design philosophy, which artfully captures the beauty of nature through the concept of 'kinetic sculpture'. The kinetic sculpture transcended its role as a mere standalone object, offering a synesthetic experience by seamlessly orchestrating the organic movement of 1,411 metal sticks in tandem with accompanying video, lighting, and sound elements. The lighting system employed was the OSRAM E:Cue System, which enabled the synchronization of lighting with the fluidic band video and the kinetic pole's movements. This integration seamlessly fused the kinetic sculpture's motion, lighting effects, and accompanying sounds, culminating in a truly immersive sensory experience.
