Seegene

The Seegene building, located in Mannyeon-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, reinterprets its identity as the "Language of Light" and is designed to stand out even at night. To achieve this effect while preserving the existing elements of the building, linear LED lights were installed on both the horizontal and vertical louvers. This installation enhances the building's vertical and horizontal shapes, making them more prominent after dark. Additionally, line-type floodlights are mounted on the curtain wall of the horizontal structure on the rooftop floor, further emphasizing the building's outline and shape. All of these lighting features are integrated into the emergency management room located on the basement floor. This allows the Seegene building to enhance its visibility and display symbolism even at night. The lighting design not only transforms the architecture itself but also positively impacts the surrounding environment by adding a new light landmark to the city’s night view. Through this innovative lighting design, the Seegene building beautifies and attracts attention to the night view of Daejeon, thereby contributing to the city's cultural value.
