Stafield Suwon
The Suwon branch of the Starfield shopping mall has a vertical structure, in contrast to the wide horizontal space of the existing mall. The modern exterior design features facade lighting, metal panels, and curtain walls to create a futuristic atmosphere. Archion P1 AC-S lighting was installed on the central horizontal axis to emphasize the vertical space and create an effect that separates the top and bottom. To add an extravagant touch, a feeling of sparkling jewel was created at the top using Archion L3 MEDIA lighting. The glass curtain wall on the side of the building was designed to harmonize interior and exterior lighting. For a natural connection with the interior, slim Archion L3 lighting that uses the Wall Washer technique can be connected up to 134m. On each floor, Archion L1 lighting was installed to create a continuous soft lighting effect indoors. This is indirect lighting that can be connected up to 19 meters in length with a single DC power source, minimizing additional construction without the need for a separate power source by applying high-performance interconnectors. The interior ceiling of the Starfield Suwon branch was designed with media production reminiscent of moving clouds and star cluster-shaped ceiling lighting that harmonizes with the Byeolmadang Library, offering visitors a rich experience beyond simple shopping.
