Jamsil Lotte World Mall Bridge

The bridge connecting buildings at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil was designed to provide both visual enjoyment and safety, while also intuitively delivering environmental information. Colorful lighting on the ceiling transforms the bridge from a simple passageway into an immersive experiential space. Glass railings on the bridge are equipped with poles at regular intervals, each supporting Archion P2 floodlights that blend seamlessly with the structure, creating a minimalist and sophisticated look. The Archion P2 evenly illuminates the large ceiling area, enabling rich and dimensional lighting effects. Custom hoods were used to minimize glare and unnecessary light spread, ensuring pedestrian comfort. Archion L3 lighting capable of long-through wiring was installed on the underside of the bridge to display real-time environmental information—such as weather and fine dust levels—through dynamic RGBW color changes. This system remains stable across long distances and conveys critical information clearly while offering unique visual effects during events, transforming a simple bridge into an innovative space that merges movement with experience.
