Gran Seoul

The Gran Seoul renewal project, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is a large-scale remodeling initiative aimed at transforming the former “Cheongjin Shopping District” into a modern and trendy commercial space. At the heart of this project lies an intelligent lighting design tailored to the unique character and function of each area. First, in the soaring lobby on the first floor, ELR modular detachable lighting was installed with catwalk access for easy maintenance and ample brightness. The reception area features daylight-tunable lighting, allowing brightness and color temperature to be adjusted by time of day. Behind the reception desk, wall washer downlights highlight the vertical surface, creating a more expansive and comfortable visual experience. In shared areas, Archion L1 luminaires deliver a soft yet upscale ambiance, while brightness-critical zones like the fitness center are illuminated using Archion L2 fixtures enhanced with Infinity and louver options to ensure sufficient illuminance. Throughout all spaces except for lobbies, ComfortPro technology is applied to effectively control glare.
